My name is Rein van der Burg. I work as a humanistic spiritual counselor on Texel and in the Kop van Noord-Holland region. In my work, I offer space to people seeking stability, meaning, or peace - especially in moments when life is difficult, stagnant, or changing.

I studied Humanities and have a thriving spiritual counselor practice on the island of Texel for several years. I also work as a spiritual counselor at Noordwest Hospital.

I grew up in a strictly religious environment. From there, I began exploring different forms of meaning. That journey, with all its depth, pain, and beauty, forms the foundation from which I work and remains a source of understanding and inspiration for me.

I'm trying to unite fragmented spiritual care initiatives. The goal is to establish a consistent policy for spiritual care management in the region.

My work is rooted in mindfulness and the search for meaning. Focusing on what truly matters in someone's life. Connecting with who you are, with your story, your values, your silence.
